Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to join our growing engineering team. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining high-quality, responsive, and performant user interfaces across our web and mobile applications.
As a senior member, you will work closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver seamless user experiences. You will mentor junior developers and contribute to technical decisions, architecture, and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
● Develop, test, and maintain frontend features for web and mobile applications.
● Build responsive UIs using HTML5, CSS3 (including preprocessors like SASS/LESS), and JavaScript.
● Implement dynamic client-side behavior using jQuery where needed.
● Build modern and scalable single-page applications using React.js.
● Develop cross-platform mobile apps using React Native.
● Optimize frontend performance, accessibility, and SEO.
● Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate wireframes and prototypes into functional components.
● Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior team members.
● Stay up to date on emerging frontend technologies and industry trends.
Required Skills & Qualifications
● 5+ years of professional experience in frontend development.
● Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (ES6+).
● Experience with jQuery for legacy code maintenance and enhancements.
● Advanced knowledge of React.js and its ecosystem (Redux, Hooks, etc.).
● Experience with React Native for mobile app development.
● Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integration with backend services.
● Strong understanding of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and performance optimization.
● Experience with version control (Git) and modern build tools (Webpack, Babel, npm/Yarn).
● Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
● Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Nice to Have
● Experience with TypeScript.
● Exposure to automated testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library).
● Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and cloud environments.
