Job Description:

The ARM Group is hiring a Full-Time, Shift Supervisor (MDF Plant) to support one of our top manufacturing partners in Barnwell, SC.

#Salary – 70K – $95K/Annually

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage MDF plant shift operations.
  • Enforce safety standards and housekeeping requirements.
  • Supervise, train, and develop shift personnel.
  • Conduct performance appraisals and manage payroll/attendance via ADP.
  • Monitor production, quality metrics, and ensure continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with plant technologists and management team.
  • Oversee crisis management, short-term projects, and production scheduling.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong technical and personnel management skills.
  • Quantitative and analytical ability for production metrics.
  • Crisis management and problem-solving under pressure.
  • Budget monitoring, scheduling, and performance evaluation.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office.

Experience & Education

  • 2+ years supervisory experience in plant operations OR 3+ years as operator (MDF/industrial manufacturing preferred).
  • High school diploma/GED required, bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership, resilience, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Availability for 12 hours rotating shifts, overtime, nights, holidays, and weekends.
