Job description:

The ARM Group is looking to hire a Regional Service Manager for one of our clients.

Preferred Location: NY, PA, MI, or OH

Pay: $40,000.00 – $50,000.00 per year

Role:

This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in technical service, dealer support, warranty, field service, equipment, automotive, industrial machinery, or similar industries.

You will work closely with dealers, distributors, technicians, and customers to improve product uptime, service quality, customer satisfaction, dealer performance, and aftermarket revenue.

The role combines technical problem-solving, dealer management, warranty, customer support, and business development.

What You’ll Do

Technical & Field Service

  • Provide technical support to dealers, distributors, technicians, and customers.
  • Troubleshoot product and equipment issues and support timely resolution of field problems.
  • Conduct failure analysis and root-cause investigations and coordinate corrective actions.
  • Support product validation trials and Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI).
  • Train dealers and service teams on products, service procedures, warranty processes, and service portals.
  • Create and distribute technical bulletins, service updates, and technical documentation.
  • Identify recurring product/service issues and work with internal teams on product improvements.

Warranty & Quality

  • Manage warranty and goodwill claims from submission through resolution.
  • Ensure warranty policies and procedures are followed consistently across the dealer network.
  • Conduct warranty audits and help dealers improve claim quality and turnaround time.
  • Monitor product reliability and recurring service issues.
  • Ensure dealers maintain appropriate workshop and service standards.

Customer & Dealer Support

  • Drive high levels of customer satisfaction and service quality.
  • Act as an escalation point for complex customer and dealer issues.
  • Develop strong relationships with dealer service teams and key customers.
  • Implement service SOPs, workshop standards, and service best practices.
  • Gather market and customer feedback and communicate key trends to internal teams.
  • Help dealers improve technician capability, service processes, and overall performance.

Aftermarket & Business Growth

  • Help dealers improve parts availability and spare-parts inventory management.
  • Support service campaigns, customer outreach, and preventive maintenance programs.
  • Identify opportunities to grow parts and service revenue.
  • Support value-added offerings such as extended warranties and maintenance programs.
  • Help dealers improve profitability, customer retention, and aftermarket performance.

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in field service, technical service, dealer service, after-sales, equipment service, automotive, industrial machinery, or a related industry.
  • Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working with dealers, distributors, service centers, or channel partners.
  • Understanding of warranty processes, claims, audits, and service operations.
  • Experience with field failure analysis and root-cause problem solving.
  • Strong customer-facing and relationship-management skills.
  • Ability to train and support technicians and dealer teams.
  • Commercial mindset with an understanding of parts, service, and aftermarket business.
  • Strong communication, organization, and escalation-management skills.
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with corporate and cross-functional teams.

Education

Candidates may come from a variety of educational backgrounds, including:

  • High School Diploma + Trade/Technical Certification
  • Technical Diploma / Associate Degree
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, Technical Studies, or a related field

Relevant hands-on experience can be considered in place of a degree.

Candidates located elsewhere within the assigned territory may also be considered depending on experience and travel flexibility.
