Job Description:

The ARM Group is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the deployment of advanced Automated Storage & Retrieval Systems (ASRS) and Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR) solutions for a leading technology and robotics company.

Location: Greater Chicago, IL | Salary: $125K Annually | Travel: Up to 50% | Status: Actively Interviewing

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage project schedules, budgets, deliverables, and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead projects from kick-off through successful handover to operations.
  • Gather and analyze customer requirements while coordinating with engineering and development teams.
  • Support the development of scalable deployment processes for large-scale implementations.
  • Collaborate with global teams, including headquarters in Japan, to localize deployment, safety, and operational best practices.
  • Travel to customer sites as needed (up to 50%).

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Project Management experience in factory automation, robotics, logistics, automotive, industrial equipment, IT systems integration, or related industries.
  • Understanding of both software and hardware development lifecycles.
  • Strong leadership, ownership, and project delivery skills.
  • Ability to read and write technical documentation in English.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Project Management certification (PMP or equivalent).
  • Experience with industrial safety standards, risk assessments, and compliance.
  • Knowledge of robotics, automation, computer science, or warehouse automation technologies.
  • Business-level Japanese language skills are a plus.
