Job Description:

The ARM Group is seeking to hire aFull-Time – Production Manager – BAR / SOAP for one of our leading contract manufacturing clients in Aurora, IL.

#Immediate Hiring / Actively Interviewing

#Pay: $120K – $130K/Annually.

#Shift: 1sf Shift

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage Bar Soap manufacturing operations, ensuring achievement of Safety, Quality, OEE, OTIF, Material Yield, and Production targets.
  • Direct supervisors, engineers, maintenance, and production teams to optimize productivity and operational efficiency.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, troubleshoot production issues, reduce waste/scrap, and improve department capacity.
  • Oversee production scheduling, inventory control, quality standards, maintenance prioritization, and regulatory compliance.
  • Foster a strong problem-solving culture through coaching, training, and employee development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and union leadership to ensure smooth plant operations and employee engagement.

Required Experience & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • 10+ years of manufacturing experience.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience in a high-speed production environment.
  • 5+ years of experience in a unionized manufacturing environment.
  • 5+ years of experience in an FDA-regulated facility.
  • Strong leadership, planning, organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Experience with OEE improvement, OTIF delivery, quality systems, continuous improvement, and production management.
  • Consumer products manufacturing experience preferred.

Key Technologies / Manufacturing Focus:

  • High-speed production operations.
  • Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Production scheduling, inventory management, quality control, and maintenance coordination.
  • FDA-regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Union workforce management.
