Job Description:
The ARM Group is currently recruiting for a Full-Time Shift Mechanic (MDF Plant) position with a leading client in Greater Augusta Area.

#Pay Range: $28/Hour – $34/Hour
#Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts (14 shifts in 28 days, days/nights/weekends.)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and maintain mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical systems.
- Perform equipment repairs, maintain documentation, and support contractors.
- Ensure safety compliance and maintain productivity standards.
- Assist with additional tasks to support team and operations.
Must have the ability to:
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and work orders.
- Use industrial tools and evaluate equipment performance.
- Work independently or in a team with minimal supervision.
- Perform physical tasks including lifting, standing, and extended work hours.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 5+ years of maintenance experience in a production/manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical components, hydraulics, and pneumatics
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Associate degree (Mechanical/Electrical) preferred.
Environment and Physical Requirements:
- Work in manufacturing and office environments (non-climate-controlled areas)
- Exposure to varying environmental conditions
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift to 30–50 lbs.
