Pay: $33.00 – $37.00 per hour DOE
Summary:
Responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment to ensure safety and minimize downtime. Supports continuous improvement and equipment reliability through preventive and predictive maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair production equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations.
- Provide ongoing technical support to maintain equipment in optimal working condition.
- Perform Predictive Maintenance (PdM) to extend equipment life and reduce downtime.
- Follow all company and governmental safety standards and regulations.
- Train and support Entry-Level and Apprentice Maintenance Technicians in accordance with the training program.
- Use appropriate hand and power tools to perform job functions.
- Document maintenance activities in the Maintenance Operating System (MOS) as per departmental procedures.
- Effectively use troubleshooting techniques to diagnose and repair equipment issues.
- Maintain equipment using hoists, cranes, testing instruments, and other tools safely and effectively.
- Collaborate with coworkers and cross-functional teams to support operations.
- Participate in shift handovers and communicate relevant maintenance information.
- Fabricate basic components in the Maintenance or Machine Shop as needed.
- Use Human Machine Interface (HMI) functions to retrieve error messages and assist in problem-solving.
- Maintain clean work areas and follow 5S and housekeeping standards.
- Operate equipment in accordance with all established specifications and procedures.
- Comply with IATF:16949 and ISO:14000 standards.
- Support and adhere to company policies and corporate principles.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Technical training in a relevant field.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, manuals, and schematics.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in a technical field.
- Experience in high-volume automotive manufacturing.
- Experience with CNC machining centers and automated assembly equipment.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, sit, kneel, crouch, climb stairs, and use hands frequently.
- Occasionally lift and move up to 40 pounds.
