Job Description:

The ARM Group is looking to hire a Full-Time, 3rd Shift – Machining Supervisor (Production Supervisor – Machining) for one of our leading customers in Charleston, SC

#Salary Range: $75K – $85K/Annually

#Shift/Hours: 3rd Shift – 11 PM – 7:30 AM EST

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily machining production activities and assign shift work effectively.
  • Drive productivity, quality, safety, cost control, and team performance.
  • Monitor CNC machining operations, assembly machines, leak testing systems, and automated production lines.
  • Support troubleshooting of machines, tooling, fixtures, gauges, and inspection equipment.
  • Coordinate with Engineering and Quality teams to resolve production issues.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, TPM, TQM, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Lead employee coaching, cross-training, conflict resolution, and workforce development.
  • Maintain smooth production flow and remove operational bottlenecks.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 7+ years of experience in high-volume machining/manufacturing environment.
  • Strong hands-on experience with CNC machines, automation systems, assembly, and leak testing equipment.
  • Knowledge of CNC programming, tooling, fixtures, gauges, and inspection methods.
  • Exposure to TPM (Total Productive Maintenance), TQM (Total Quality Management), Lean/Continuous Improvement.
  • Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and team management skills.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced manufacturing environments and handle multiple priorities.
  • Experience in core making and heat treatment is an added advantage.
  • Flexible to work 2nd/3rd shifts, weekends, overtime, and holidays as required.
