Job Title: HR Generalist
Location: Greater Naperville, IL
Pay range-$65k-$70k
Experience Required: 2–5 years
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our team and support our manufacturing operations in Greater Naperville, IL.. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in HR processes including payroll, training coordination, recruiting, and employee relations. This role requires excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple HR functions in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and track employee training programs; maintain accurate training records
- Process bi-weekly payroll using ADP
- Support recruiting activities including job postings, screening, and onboarding
- Conduct new hire orientations and assist with employee integration
- Support employee relations efforts and assist with investigations as needed
- Maintain accurate HRIS data and personnel files
- Administer employee benefits, leave requests, and ensure compliance with HR policies
- Assist with compliance audits, HR reporting, and documentation
- Provide administrative support to the HR department and plant leadership
Qualifications:
- 2–5 years of human resources experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency with ADP payroll systems
- Strong administrative, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently
- Working knowledge of HR practices, employment law, and compliance
