ARM Group is currently hiring for a Vice President – Quality / Head of Quality position with a leading automotive component manufacturer in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
Position: Vice President – Quality / Head of Quality
Location: Chennai
Reporting To: CEO
Experience: 20–30 Years
Industry: Automotive Components / Tier-1 / Tier-2
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the overall Quality function across manufacturing operations.
- Drive Customer, Manufacturing, Supplier and New Product Quality.
- Lead quality excellence across Aluminium Die Casting and Precision Machining operations.
- Manage OEM/Tier-1 customer audits, quality escalations and Customer PPM improvement.
- Drive APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, Control Plans and launch readiness.
- Ensure compliance with IATF 16949 and Customer Specific Requirements.
- Lead supplier development, process capability improvement, root-cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop and mentor Quality teams while working closely with the CEO and other functional leaders.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience within Tier-1/Tier-2 automotive component manufacturing, particularly Aluminium Die Casting and Precision Machining, along with end-to-end Quality leadership experience.
