The ARM Group is seeking to hire a FULL-TIME, Director Finance & Controlling – Americas (Regional Controller Americas) HYBRID ROLE for one of our leading customers in Huntersville, NC

#8–10 years of progressive finance leadership experience, ideally within manufacturing or industrial environments.
Role Purpose:
- The Director Finance & Controlling – Americas serves as the strategic financial leader for the Americas region.
- This role ensures profitability, operational efficiency, compliance, and financial transparency while acting as a key advisor to regional leadership.
- The position plays a critical role in driving business performance through financial insight, strengthening governance frameworks, and leading finance transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Leadership & Strategy
- Serve as a member of the Regional Leadership Team, influencing business strategy through financial expertise.
- Lead and develop Finance, Controlling, and Regional IT teams.
- Build a high-performance culture with strong succession planning.
- Promote ethical leadership, collaboration, and alignment across functions.
- Provide strategic financial guidance to support growth and operational excellence.
2. Financial Management
- Oversee Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), including budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow management.
- Deliver accurate, timely executive-level financial reporting and performance insights.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SEC, IFRS, and corporate policies.
- Lead cost accounting, margin improvement initiatives, and operational controlling.
- Strengthen financial systems, tools, and decision-support capabilities.
3. Governance & Compliance
- Maintain robust internal controls and risk management frameworks.
- Ensure audit readiness and serve as primary liaison for internal and external auditors.
- Safeguard company assets and enforce adherence to global compliance standards.
- Oversee capital approvals, lease reviews, credit approvals, and financial governance processes.
4. Technology & Process Improvement
- Provide leadership in regional finance system alignment (including SAP).
- Drive digital finance initiatives, automation, and process optimization.
- Improve reporting accuracy, speed, and business intelligence capabilities.
Authority & Accountability:
- Responsible for monthly regional financial reporting, forecasts, budgets, and ad-hoc financial analysis.
- Financial approval authority over capital expenditures, leases, credit, and reporting submissions.
- Accountable for financial accuracy, transparency, and strategic insight across the Americas region.
Success Measures:
- Strength and development of regional finance team.
- Accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting and forecasts.
- Measurable influence on profitability and strategic financial outcomes.
- Compliance adherence and continuous process improvement.
- Operational efficiency gains through automation and systems enhancement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting (Master’s preferred).
- CPA or equivalent certification desirable.
- 8–10 years of progressive finance leadership experience, ideally within manufacturing or industrial environments.
Strong expertise in:
- IFRS and GAAP compliance
- SAP and ERP systems
- Cost accounting & operational controlling
- Multi-entity and regional financial leadership
- Exceptional executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Willingness to travel within the Americas region.
