Role: Client Director – Insights & Advisory (REMOTE, US)

Location: United States (West Coast preferred – Bay Area / Seattle)
Type: Full-Time | Sales
Salary: $175,000/Annually

Role Overview:

  • Quota-carrying leadership role focused on winning net-new technology and telecom clients
  • Drive growth by selling Research, Insights, Analytics, Competitive Intelligence, Pricing, and Advisory solutions into technology companies
  • Own the full sales cycle—from executive-level conversations through deal close and ongoing client expansion

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, pursue, and close new logo opportunities within the technology and telecom sector
  • Build and maintain C-level and senior stakeholder relationships across Product Marketing, Corporate Strategy, Pricing, Insights, UX Research, and Competitive Intelligence teams
  • Sell qualitative and quantitative research, insights, and advisory programs, expanding adoption across client business units
  • Develop and manage a $1M+ pipeline, consistently meeting or exceeding quota and KPIs
  • Partner closely with delivery teams to ensure client expectations and outcomes are met
  • Use CRM tools to manage pipeline, forecasting, and accountability
  • Collaborate globally to share best practices and shape sales strategy
  • Travel to client sites as needed (up to 40–50%)

Required Experience & Skills:

  • 10+ years of experience in consultative sales or consulting within technology or telecom
  • Proven success selling research, insights, analytics, pricing, competitive intelligence, or advisory services into technology companies
  • Strong preference for candidates from Big 4, strategy firms, or research & advisory providers
  • Experience in roles such as Client Director, Engagement Lead, Director, or Junior Partner
  • Deep understanding of tech buying dynamics across product, marketing, and strategy organizations
  • Ability to position qualitative & quantitative research methodologies to solve complex business problems
  • Strong executive communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with excellent time management and attention to detail

Important Note:

  • Candidates primarily focused on SaaS product sales or IT/engineering services sales may not be a strong fit due to a different sales motion
