The ARM Group is looking to hire an Accounts Payable for one of our clients located in Ridgeville, SC.
Job Title: Accounts Payable (Contract – 6 Months)
Location: Ridgeville, SC
Pay range-$21-$23/hr
Duration: 6-Month Contract
Job Summary
Seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to support day-to-day accounts payable operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing invoices, managing vendor payments, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting procedures in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Process high-volume vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
- Perform 3-way matching of invoices, purchase orders, and receiving documents.
- Review invoices for proper approvals and coding.
- Prepare and process weekly payment runs (checks, ACH, wire transfers).
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve invoice discrepancies.
- Respond to vendor inquiries regarding payments and account status.
- Maintain accurate AP records and documentation.
- Assist with month-end closing activities and account reconciliations.
- Support internal and external audits by providing requested documentation.
- Collaborate with Purchasing, Receiving, and Finance teams to resolve issues.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of Accounts Payable experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with SAP.
- Strong understanding of AP processes, invoice matching, and reconciliations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Manufacturing industry experience.
- Experience handling high-volume invoice processing.
- Knowledge of month-end close procedures.
Pay Rate
- Competitive hourly rate based on experience.
