Job Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer Consultant to lead enterprise-level data initiatives across cloud platforms. You will drive strategy, architecture, and delivery of modern data solutions for global clients, managing a dynamic team of 20+ engineers across onshore and offshore locations. This is a fully remote leadership role with some travel to client sites.

Join a rapidly growing global Data Analytics practice (1000+ professionals) where you’ll collaborate on cutting-edge technologies, including Databricks, Snowflake, AWS, Azure, Python, SQL, ETL, and Tableau.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead project ideation, scoping, and execution of end-to-end cloud-based data engineering solutions.
  • Manage delivery quality and timelines across multiple projects in AWS, Azure, Databricks, Snowflake, etc.
  • Act as the primary technical liaison with client stakeholders (Director/VP level).
  • Build strong relationships with clients and sales teams to pitch data solutions.
  • Provide strategic leadership to a 20+ member global team.
  • Generate and present reports and insights to clients and internal leadership.
  • Occasional travel to client sites as required.

Must-Have Skills & Experience:

  • 15+ years of data engineering experience with Databricks, AWS/Azure/GCP, Snowflake, Redshift, Python, SQL, ETL Pipelines, Tableau, and data quality tools.
  • Strong expertise in cloud data integration and data warehouse design.
  • Proven success in client-facing roles, including solution design and delivery leadership.
  • 3+ years of experience managing onshore/offshore engineering teams.
  • Excellent communication skills for both technical and executive audiences.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
