The ARM Group is seeking to hire a full-time opportunity for an Service Head – Europe at one of our premier clients in Delhi/Hoshiarpur, IN.
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Service Head to lead our European service operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the international tractor industry, with a deep understanding of Common Rail Direct Injection (CRDI) systems. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills to drive service excellence and customer satisfaction across the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Management:
- Lead and manage the European service team, ensuring high performance and continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement service strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
- Foster a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous learning within the service department.
- Technical Expertise:
- Provide technical guidance and support on CRDI systems and other advanced tractor technologies.
- Oversee the diagnosis, troubleshooting, and resolution of complex technical issues.
- Ensure the service team is well-trained and up-to-date with the latest industry advancements and technologies.
- Customer Relations:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, dealers, and stakeholders.
- Address and resolve customer complaints and service issues promptly and effectively.
- Conduct regular customer satisfaction surveys and implement feedback to improve service quality.
- Operational Excellence:
- Monitor and analyze service performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement.
- Develop and manage service budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations.
- Implement best practices and standard operating procedures (SOPs) across all service centers.
- Compliance & Safety:
- Ensure all service operations comply with industry regulations and safety standards.
- Promote a safe working environment and enforce safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
- 18-20 years of experience in the international tractor industry, with a focus on service operations.
- In-depth knowledge of Common Rail Direct Injection (CRDI) systems.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel extensively across Europe.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with advanced diagnostic tools and software.
- Familiarity with European agricultural machinery regulations and standards.
- Multilingual abilities, especially in major European languages.
