Senior Structural Engineer/Project Manager

The ARM Group is looking for a Senior Structural Engineer/Project Manager for a leading Engineering company located in Queens, NY.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing projects, reviewing specifications, preparing design drawings, performing calculations, and documenting tasks. This role requires strong project management and client communication skills.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design and review of Concrete and Structural Steel Buildings.
- Ensure compliance with building codes and standards.
- Prepare detailed calculations, design drawings, and specifications.
- Utilize engineering software including SAFE, Etabs, RAM, and AutoCAD.
- Manage multiple projects to meet schedules and deadlines.
- Maintain strong communication with clients and project stakeholders.
- Provide technical insights and contribute to project analysis and troubleshooting.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in structural engineering and design of buildings.
- Proficiency in engineering software such as SAFE, Etabs, RAM, and AutoCAD.
- In-depth knowledge of building codes and standards.
- Strong technical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Proficiency in verbal and written English.
- Commitment to long-term professional growth.
Education:
- MS in Structural Engineering (preferred).
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus but not required.
