Senior Sales Manager – Wheel Loaders

The ARM GROUP is looking for Senior Sales Manager – Wheel Loaders for one of our clients in Germany (multiple locations)

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Sales Manager to lead our Wheel Loader Sales division in Germany. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing strategic sales plans, and managing key customer relationships within the loader business. This role requires a deep understanding of the construction equipment market, particularly wheel loaders, and a proven track record in sales leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand market share for wheel loaders in Germany.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, dealers, and distributors to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team sales goals. Provide training and support to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Sales Forecasting: Prepare accurate sales forecasts and reports, and present them to senior management. Monitor sales performance and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain in-depth knowledge of wheel loader products, features, and benefits. Provide technical support and product demonstrations to customers.
  • Negotiation and Closing: Lead negotiations with customers and close high-value sales deals. Ensure all sales agreements and contracts are properly executed.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to ensure a cohesive approach to sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Compliance: Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in sales, with at least 5 years in a senior sales role within the construction equipment industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of the wheel loader market and customer needs.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel frequently within Germany and internationally as required.
  • Proficiency in German and English languages.
