The ARM Group is seeking to hire a full-time Senior Developer – Linux Board Bringup at one of our premier clients’ locations in Bengaluru, KA.
Senior Developer – Linux Board Bringup
Location: Jaya Nagar, Bengaluru.
Work Mode: 5 days – WFO
Interview Rounds: 3 round – 1st virtual, 2nd face to face (2 technical), 3 is HR
Salary: 22-30 LPA and 5-10 % variables
Summary
Good knowledge and expertise on Linux board bring up. Experienced in building various Linux OS using YOCTO. Ability to configure kernels, add or remove support of devices and protocols, flash and boot on embedded platforms, SoC is a must.
Roles and Responsibility
As a senior Linux developer, the person will be responsible for building Linux from scratch, configuring Device Tree and adding or removing components to the OS as required. Other additional kernel and application design, development and delivery are an integral part of the responsibilities. Must have enough expertise to explain concepts to other team members and guide them in their work on Linux board for new hardware and system level programs.
Technical Knowledge and Skill
- Working experience with any ISA is a must, preferably hands on experience with RISC-V architecture.
- Must be capable of working on low level code, systems programming and hardware interfacing.
- Must have experience developing Linux Kernel Code.
- Should have Working knowledge with open-source software.
- Experience with open-source projects like RedBoot, UBoot, QEMU, Open compute, IPMI/BMC, Coreboot etc. is required.
Minimum Qualification
- B.E, B.S, B.Tech, M.E, M.S, M.Tech, M.Sc, MCA or equivalent degree in the fields of Computer Science, ECE, EEE etc. with C and systems programming, hardware interfacing, digital electronics and related subjects.
Experience
- 5 to 8 years of total experience
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in the field of Linux board bring up.
