The ARM Group is seeking to hire a full-time Senior Android Developer at one of our premier clients’ locations in Hyderabad, Telangana.

The role
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the Client Android app. Write clean, efficient and maintainable code using Kotlin/Java and latest Android frameworks.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional teams. Work closely with designers, product managers, QA and other developers to develop intuitive, engaging and bug free user experiences.
- Optimise and Test applications. Conduct thorough testing to ensure application stability, optimise for performance, and troubleshoot any issues.
- Implement new features and updates. Design and implement application updates and new features, incorporating user feedback and product requirements.
- Stay updated with Android best practices. Keep up with the latest Android tools, frameworks, and best practices, ensuring the application is modern and follows industry standards.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in Android development.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Kotlin
- Strong knowledge of Android SDK, Jetpack components, MVVM architecture, and other design patterns.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and backend integration.
- Proficiency in Git
- Understanding of mobile app development principles, including UI/UX design, performance optimization, and responsive layouts.
- Experience in integrating third-party libraries and APIs, such as Google APIs and Firebase.
- Familiarity with modern libraries like RxJava, Coroutines, Room, and Retrofit.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in diagnosing and resolving issues.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools for automated testing and deployment.

- Phone call: Your first call will be with our Talent Team who’ll go through your experience, tell you more about the role and what it’s like to work with the client!
- Interview: You’ll then meet with members from our Tech team who’ll do a deep dive into your experience and will tell you more about the client!
- Task: If successful, we’ll send you our short task to complete.
- Team Interviews: You’ll then meet key members of our team who will dive deep into client mission, roadmap and culture.
