Role Overview
We are seeking a senior, results-driven sales leader to drive global growth for a leading analytics and knowledge services organization. The Managing Director – Sales will be responsible for defining and executing sales strategy, scaling the sales ecosystem, and delivering significant revenue growth through strategic account expansion and new logo acquisition.
This is a player-coach role combining global sales leadership with direct ownership of key enterprise accounts. The role reports to the Vice President and partners closely with global sales, marketing, and onshore/offshore delivery teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the global sales strategy to accelerate enterprise growth.
- Scale and strengthen the sales ecosystem while contributing to go-to-market and marketing initiatives.
- Own and grow strategic enterprise accounts while driving new logo acquisition through established networks and relationships.
- Lead complex, multi-million-dollar pursuits supported by onshore and offshore solution architects, consultants, and operations teams.
- Collaborate with the global sales organization to identify and execute upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
- Provide thought leadership in shaping business development proposals and innovative, programmatic service offerings.
- Actively guide and participate in pursuit strategy to win the largest, most strategic deals in the pipeline.
- Attend and lead client meetings alongside sales team members, serving as a coach and executive sponsor.
- Build trusted advisory relationships with senior and C-level executives to anchor long-term, strategic engagements.
- Analyze client initiatives, competitive dynamics, and market trends to identify new growth opportunities.
- Travel up to 50% to support client and business needs.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- 12+ years of experience in technology sales or business development.
- Proven success meeting or exceeding multi-million-dollar quotas selling data, analytics, or cloud solutions to Fortune 1000 companies.
- Experience selling data solutions aligned to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) use cases.
- Demonstrated track record of C-suite selling, building trusted executive relationships, and delivering measurable business value.
- Experience creating and selling innovative, programmatic service offerings.
- Background in selling outsourcing and/or offshore knowledge services.
- Strong ability to position technology solutions to new customers and emerging market segments.
- Proven success expanding existing accounts by deepening customer understanding and increasing wallet share.
- Excellent written, verbal, listening, and executive-level presentation skills.
- Demonstrated history of consistently meeting or exceeding quarterly and annual targets while building strong pipelines.
- Experience identifying, negotiating, and closing large-scale, complex technology deals in a collaborative environment.
