The ARM Group is seeking Reliability Engineer for our multinational client, located in Gray Court, SC

Position Summary: Works with cross functional teams associated with Maintenance, Production Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, Maintenance Planner in SAP in order to organize and plan the continuous improvement and root cause analysis of equipment reliability and preventative maintenance data and activities. Provides the documentation structure and reporting data to the maintenance leadership on reliability and PM performance / information.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Drive infrastructure change within the user and customer environment of the maintenance realm by working effectively with subject matter experts from SBR and ZFGC maintenance department.
  • Become subject matter expert in the input of data entry / PM planning / scheduling from the SAP-PM modules.
  • Develop facilities equipment PM documentation, reporting and legal documentation to support government and local requirements.
  • Be proactive in support of required modifications to maintenance procedures for continuous improvement.
  • Train users on existing role requirements in order to maintain day-to-day effective maintenance data
  • Increase functionality and user support to improve efficiencies in the PM notification/order and work orders process for manpower, BOM material, equipment availability, technical documentation and associated analysis utilizing both internal and external resources.
  • Responsible for the facilitating weekly area backlog meetings as well as individual accountability.
  • Utilizing Axalant/SAP and other software’s, for the capture of all maintenance data, and cost.
  • Maintain integrity of all maintenance data, including support for update of annual equipment  PM  tasks
  • Preparation of all weekly compliance reports.
  • Coordinate condition monitoring and predictive maintenance scheduling and report documentation in SAP.
  • Perform data entry work/analysis with-in Axalant as well as SAP.
  • Assist with maintenance department training activities to improve process flow and data integrity.
  • Develop performance indicator reporting systems (% completed PM’s, maintenance costs, downtime cost, equipment cost, warranty tracking, MTBF, MTTR, etc.).
  • Understand and comply with IAFT – 16949 and ISO 14000 requirements.
  • Supports and complies with established Company’s Corporate Principles.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
  • 3-4+ years of experience
  • Proficient computer skills, strong MS Office (Excel) and knowledge
  • Good communication skills
  • Advanced knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within Engineering.
  • Working knowledge of product line(s) and engineering design principles
  • Experience with engineering change systems. 
  • Advanced understanding of engineering techniques and principles
  • English language competency

Preferred Skills and experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or related field
  • Five (5) years of experience in an automotive industry environment with SAP as the MOS.
  • Prior experience as a maintenance skilled trades, maintenance technician or maintenance supervisor in a manufacturing/assembly environment.
