Maintenance Manager (MDF)

Job Description:

The ARM Group is looking to hire a Full-TimeMDF Maintenance Manager for one of our leading clients in Barnwell, SC.

#Salary: $112,000.00 – $160,000.00/Annually

#This is a full-time position, and the general hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m

#This is a leadership position that requires extended hours and weekend work, as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage budgets for R&M and EOM of approximately $8,000,000
  • Manage the department to support production departments in achieving maximum uptime, maximum productivity.
  • Manage approximately 20 employees to cover 24/7 operation, preventive maintenance, and rebuilds.
  • Manage fire systems site-wide to assure readiness in case of a fire emergency.

Professional Experience:

  • Minimum (5) years managing a maintenance department supporting a minimum of $100,000,000 in assets.
  • Minimum Associate’s Degree in a technical discipline related to manufacturing.

Education and Technical Skills Profile:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Must understand electrical control systems, including Servo Drives and PLCs
  • Must understand complex mechanical drive systems
  • Must understand pneumatic systems
  • Must understand complex hydraulic systems
  • Must understand utilities such as electrical, thermal oil, compressed air, and HVAC
  • Must be able to use Project Planner and CMMS systems.

Environment and Behavioral Profile:

  • Must be able to interface with others at all levels, from executive to hourly.
  • Must be available to support a 24/7/365 manufacturing operation.
  • Must be able to effectively manage technical associates from Engineers to technicians.
  • Anticipate changes – assess the situation by stepping back, identify conditions to implement solutions, identify consequences, and assess/analyze risks
  • Agility in execution – take initiative, move into action quickly once decisions are made, adapt your working mode to take into account changes
  • Cooperation – listen to others and take into account their points of view, explain your points of view and priorities to gain support, look for synergies (within and outside the team) to improve overall results, work with others to achieve common objectives
  • Make continuous progress – take new approaches, implement best practices, challenge others’ ideas to enhance them, demonstrate open-mindedness, promote new ideas in your area, and test them

Mobility and Physical Requirement Profile:

  • Role based in the US, Barnwell, SC.
  • This job is in a manufacturing environment.
  • Travel up to 5%. Ability to travel on short notice.
