Job Title: Parts – Inventory Supervisor
Location: Houston, TX
Pay rate-$60k-$65k
Position Summary:
Seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Parts – Inventory Supervisor to oversee the management of a $27M inventory, consisting of 40,000 SKUs across 30,000 storage locations. The ideal candidate will ensure inventory accuracy and system integrity by leading cycle counts, conducting audits, and maintaining zero-defect standards throughout warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee inventory accuracy through cycle counts, bin reviews, and put-away audits.
- Supervise throughput activities for Put-Away teams and Inventory Clerks.
- Maintain SAP system accuracy by investigating inventory discrepancies, conducting transactional reviews, and performing procedural audits.
- Operate material handling equipment (forklift, order picker, etc.) to support inventory checks and reconciliations.
- Provide data analytics and reporting for inventory updates and improvement recommendations.
- Ensure material is stored and handled according to requirements.
- Meet and exceed departmental KPIs and team objectives.
- Recruit, train, coach, and manage performance of direct reports.
- Support and manage special projects and warehouse process implementations.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, or related field.
- 8–10 years of experience in inventory/store management.
- Minimum 3 years in a supervisory or team lead role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and SAP.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Understanding of Lean Six Sigma principles.
- Experience working in cross-functional environments.
- Ability to operate a forklift; certification is a plus.
- Must be able to work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
