Job Description:
The ARM Group LLC is hiring a Full-Time (FUB) Production Shift Supervisor for one of our leading customers in Barnwell, SC.
#Sign-On-Bonus Provided.
#Annual Salary – $69K – $96K/Annually.
#12 Hours Rotating Shift – (2 –2–3) – 14 shifts in 28 days – days, nights, holidays, and weekends.
Job Summary:
- The FUB Production Shift Supervisor is responsible for leading the production shift to ensure safety, quality, and productivity.
- They direct and manage all production activities, oversee team members, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- This role ensures the reliable production of high-quality flooring products, aligns production plans with maintenance schedules, and facilitates skill development within the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead production shift team ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and productivity standards.
- Troubleshoot technical problems and coordinate with maintenance for support.
- Promote safe working conditions, enforce safety protocols (PPE, LOTO), and lead incident response.
- Ensure quality control checks are performed, and corrective actions are implemented as needed.
- Maintain operational integrity, monitor equipment, and ensure timely reporting of issues.
- Oversee skill development and performance coaching for operators.
- Ensure shift meets daily production targets and reports on gaps or issues.
- Manage attendance, payroll, and disciplinary actions for the team.
Key Qualifications:
Education:
- High school diploma/GED required; Associate/Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience:
- 2+ years in a Flooring Department or related manufacturing role.
- 2-5 years of leadership in an industrial environment preferred.
Skills:
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP; basic computer skills required.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in noisy, dusty environments.
Environment:
- This position involves exposure to high noise levels, and varying temperatures, and may require climbing, walking, squatting, kneeling, or driving a forklift.
- The supervisor will work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
