Job Description:
The ARM Group LLC is looking to hire a Full-Time – Controls Engineering Manager (Supervising Controls Technician) for one of our leading clients in Barnwell, SC.

#Annual Salary: $112,000.00 – $160,000.00/Annually
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise electrical/control personnel and activities.
- Oversee high, medium, and low voltage tasks to minimize downtime.
- Build electrical maintenance systems and support production teams.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues with PLCs (Siemens preferred), servo drives, process controls, and electrical systems.
- Maintain PC process controls and use WinCC for data reporting.
- Implement control systems to maximize productivity and product quality.
- Assist with after-hours support for troubleshooting.
- Maintain and repair machine settings and process issues.
- Communicate unresolved issues to the maintenance planner.
- Perform proactive equipment analysis to avoid breakdowns.
Professional Experience:
- 5+ years in manufacturing maintenance.
- 5+ years experience with PLC controls (Siemens preferred) and Servo drives.
- Experience with Siemens TIA Portal, Sematic Manager, WinCC, and Allen Bradley PLCs.
- Lean Six Sigma experience (Green Belt or higher preferred).
- Ability to program HMIs.
Education & Skills:
- Technical degree in manufacturing controls or 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Basic computer skills for work order and parts management.
Physical & Environmental Requirements:
- Work in a manufacturing environment with noise and high temperatures (up to 110°F).
- Ability to lift 50 lbs, climb, squat, kneel, and operate machinery.
- Required to read, communicate, and perform tasks under challenging conditions.
