The ARM Group is looking to hire a Full – Time, Sr. Director – Product Development for one of our leading customers in Barnwell, SC (Hybrid – Atlanta-Based, 30 Hours Office + Remote)

About the Role
The ARM Group is seeking a dynamic Senior Director of Product Development to lead strategy and execution for laminate flooring products. This role drives innovation, design, and manufacturing excellence, ensuring profitable growth across domestic production and European sister plants.What You’ll Do
- Lead the full product lifecycle: concept, design, launch, and portfolio management.
- Develop product roadmaps aligned with market trends and business goals.
- Drive decor design innovation with internal and external design teams.
- Conduct trend analysis, competitive research, and market positioning.
- Partner with manufacturing to optimize production and manage tollgate processes.
- Analyze sales data, customer feedback, and KPIs to guide product decisions.
- Manage pricing, margins, and portfolio optimization.
- Lead innovation pipeline, voice-of-customer research, and product testing.
What We’re Looking For
- 10+ years in decorative products, ideally with National Accounts (Lowe’s, Home Depot, F&D).
- 5+ years in product development/program management.
- Strong financial acumen, analytics, forecasting, and presentation skills.
- Collaborative design understanding; ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and strategic innovation skills.
- Willingness to travel globally, with monthly visits to customer and factory.
Education & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
- Expertise in National Accounts and product/sales principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, project management tools, and data analysis.
- Strong organizational, copywriting, and interpersonal skills.
