Location-Houston, TX

Payrate-$62k-$68k

Summary
The Junior Production Coordinator supports daily production operations by maintaining accurate data in SAP, coordinating repair activities, and assisting supervisors in tracking production metrics. This role is ideal for individuals with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to guide a small team. An engineering degree is not required, but prior experience in a manufacturing or repair environment is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate production and repair data in SAP and related systems.
  • Coordinate day-to-day activities of a small repair team, including task assignment and progress tracking.
  • Generate simple production and repair reports (e.g., downtime, completed work orders, open tasks).
  • Assist in scheduling equipment repairs to minimize production delays.
  • Ensure team members follow safety guidelines and company policies.
  • Support supervisors with documentation, tracking KPIs, and updating process logs.
  • Communicate effectively between production, maintenance, and quality teams to ensure alignment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree or technical coursework preferred.
  • 1–2 years of experience in a production, repair, or administrative coordination role.
  • Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems (training provided if limited experience).
  • Strong organizational and data entry skills; proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Ability to coordinate small teams and ensure tasks are completed on time.
  • Good problem-solving and communication skills.
